Hi Tony,
I don't know whether or not you are including siblings in your tree, but in case you are, yesterday while I was looking for children of James Corkill & 2nd wife Cathrine Crow I came across a bapt I had missed before.
This is for inclusion in the section 5.
Headed: James Corkill 1707-1779 married twice [1] Margaret Kerruish d.1744 [2] Catherine Crow d.1784.
In James's 1779 will he mentioned:
his two sons James and Edward Corkil
his Son Robert
his Grandson John Corkil
his Grandson Robert Corkil
Cathrine Quay that is in the house with us [the granddaughter in Cath's will?]
his Grandson Edward Corkil
his Son John
His execr was his wife Cathrine Corkil.
In her 1784 will his widow Cath mentioned:
Grand son William Corkill son of John Corkill Ballinsloe
Son John Corkill (her execr)
Son James Corkill
Son Edward Corkill
Catherine Quay her granddaughter
Her grand Daughter Rob’t Corkills Daughter
Her Daughter Isable Tear.
Their children bapt Maughold were:
Robert s/o James Corkill & Catherine b.1745, married Jane [deed]
Edward s/o James Corkill/ 1747/48 [no longer certain this bapt was for James & Cath's son, and not son of a different James].
James d.1828 marr. Bahee Lawson d.1815 [will], 6 children baptised.
John marr. Ann Kissag 1765, d.1821 [deed and wills]
Isable (married TEAR)
Jane daur of James Corkil & Catherine, bapt Maughold Parish Church 10 Feb 1756.
This last daughter might have had her daur Cath QUAY living with her grandparents?
Sue
