looks as tho part of Ballasloe was mortgaged c. 1806 - some of these mortgages lapsed in early 1820's and Robt Corkill (junr ?s/o of Robt as described as heir at law) + wife Margt als croaghan seem to have reacquired lands under severl deeds passing thro court in Oct 1839 - will summarise these on my CD rom (abt halfway thru at present ) - Robt sold some land to a Wm Corkill + mother Margaret where they presently reside - a William Corkill + wife Margaret als Kermode acquired some lands by a auction of land formerly prop of Danl Lowey (? lapsed mortgage) in c 1825 and sold to Robt in 1828 - maybe the complete sequence of morts, assignments and sales may clarify this
