Many thanks for all your work in tackling the numerous William Corkills.

There were at least six William Corkills bapt between about 1760 and 1780 when he was likely to have been born, judging by his 1802 marriage date.

If it can be proved that he was part of the Ballasloe family it would be good for Tony, because they were well known, and recorded by the Radcliffes. Edward Corkill (1747-1820) Parish Clerk had no children (the brother of John = Anne Kissag 1765).

The William Corkill bapt 9 Aug. 1779 was the son of John Corkill & Jane Skillicorn, and we are pretty certain he married Catharine Kelly (Joe Corkill's ancestors).
