Clarification.
Where I wrote:
1. William 1656-1711, married twice. William s/o James Corkill bapt 7 Sep 1656 [The heir to inherited land was often not mentioned in wills because he inherited automatically by law. James’s youngest son John had to buy the Ballasloe land with the permission of his eldest brother.]
I was referring to Ballasloe James Corkill 1707-1779 and his son John (who married Ann Kissag), not the earlier Ballajora James Corkill!
I didn't realise how confusing it could look with the two James until I read it again.
