Yes, I use Family Search regularly and use all the features that you've listed. It's a very good description of the power (and caution) of using FS, which would be valuable in a Hints section, if there was one.
You've also shown the problem of me writing messages at 2AM when sensible people are in bed. I had suggested John Looney and Christian Kissack' 1829 marriage as being childless, etc., but I also have John Looney and Catharine Kissack 1829 marriage with 7 children. The IGI has two marriages with Catharine Kissack and one with Christian Kissack, all same date and place. I hadn't noticed and had them as separate marriages. "Christian" is a mistake.
Which also means I don't know of any marriage of an older John Looney to an older whomever that could match the 1838 burial of a Widow Looney age 82 (Yack). Who she was is unknown.
