That looks like excellent detective work. And the will summary which Frances posted confirms that Isabel (Camaish) Looney was married to John of Boshin, Maughold d.1835, with the same children, so everything adds up.
Also good that CR's Looney chart and Maughold book reference have turned out to be correct.
And of course most of this descent would have been impossible to work out without Averil's transcripts from deeds and wills - a huge job.
Thanks for giving the links back to the first recorded Looneys in Maughold - interesting.
Do you feel like putting this section of the Looneys under discussion together in one message on the board, including part of the land record descent that you wrote 3/4/2015, 10:53 pm, up to John Looney & Rachel Redhead's sale? And include Daniel's descent as well, or up to when he sold Crow Creen to son Robert? If you can find an alternative wife for Daniel's son John it would be good.
The reason for putting the corrected descent (plus proof) in one posting is because with long threads on the board they disappear off the side of the screen in the board archives, and many messages become unreadable.
If you answer the first posting you put on the thread it will bring your new one back to the left.
