CORONER’S SALE.
TO be SOLD by PUBLIC AUCTION, by T. Myle-
chreest, Coroner of Garff Sheading, under a Decree
of the Hon. Court of Chancery, on Friday the 28th day of
September, 1849, – That old established and well known
INN, known as the Hibernia Hotel, in the parish of
Maughold , with the whole of the Appurtenances thereto be-
longing, together with those two detached Parcels of Land,
known by the name of “ Gobna-scout, “ and “ John Yack’s
Lands, “ formerly belonging to John (Rachael) Looney,

John Yack Looney had the one HALF of Gob ny Scoote which descended by -
Heir ship Bargain – from.

1/ - John Looney (Margaret Kelvy).
2/ - Daniel Looney (Isabel Cashin).
3/ - John Looney (Isabel Camaish).
4/ - John Looney (Rachel Redhead).

John Yack Looney bought - That old established and well known
INN, known as the Hibernia Hotel – Boshen - in 1813.

The OTHER half of Gob ny Scoote.
Was held by Margaret Creetch als Looney als Kelvy – until her death in 1798.

The Articles of Agreement would have been made before Margaret Creetch als Looney als Kelvy – Died in 1798.

The Articles of Agreement have been taken as – her WILL in 1798.

between Margaret Creetch Als Looney Als Kelvin of the Crowcreen ^widow^.
in the parish of KK Maughold on the one part and Ewan Looney.
her youngest Son and Mary Looney his Loving wife on the other part.
are as followeth.

First that the afforsd. Margaret Creetch Als Looney Als Kelvin Doth give.
and have by these Presents Settled upon the afforsd. Ewan Looney.
and Mary Looney his wife the one half of all her goods and Effects.

Ewan Looney now has a QUARTER of – Gob ny Scoote – at the making of these Articles of Agreement.

When Margaret Creetch als Looney als Kelvy dies in 1798.

Ewan Looney now has – the OTHER HALF of Gob ny Scoote.

Which DESCENDS to His Son – George Looney – and he has Gob ny Scoote in the Woods Atlas in 1867.
