I haven’t researched this family, apart from the Creech connection, but I can give you the Maughold parish register details.

Margt CREETCH als LOONEY was buried in Maughold on June 12 1798.

Her husband John Looney’s will was witnessed 14th day of July 1769.
John Looney buried Maughold Jul 28 1769. His will transcribed by Averil:

He made his mark, as did his wife, his son Dan Looney, Isble Looyne, and his son John Jnr [b.c.1748].

Their eldest son William required family support.
Second son Daniel: Daniel son of John Loony/Margaret bapt Maughold 4 Aug 1745 (no twin bapt with him).
Third son John b.c.1748: John Looney, 87, (Yack) buried Maughold Dec 2 1835.

According to the Radcliffes in their Maughold book, her "third son John (1748-1835) bought the intack Boshin and other land near what became the Hibernian, the inn first opened by his son John and his wife Rachel".

John Looney’s two grandchildren named in his will written 1835 were:
Isab daur of William Stowell/Margaret Looney bapt Maughold Parish Church 12 Oct 1828.
William son of William Stowell/ Margaret Looney bapt Maughold Parish Church 14 Oct 1830.
His son Robert Looney was his exec.

William Stowell / Margaret Looney married Maughold 8 Jun 1828.
There was no recorded consent of parent or guardian, so Margaret was probably aged 21 or over (b.c.1807 or earlier).

Robert son of John Looney/ Margaret Hutchen bapt Maughold 21 Oct 1787.

Margaret daur of John Looney/Isabel Camaish bapt Maughold 14 Aug 1796.

A William Stowell was buried Maughold aged 57, Ramsey, on Sept. 9 1833, and another William Stowell aged 58, Ramsey, on Jun 3 1833. This could be the reason why Margaret and her children were living with her father in 1835, and why John Looney ensured they were supported after his death.

There is a possible will: STOWELL, William 1833 Maughold E 1 0106433. If his, it may name next of kin of both families as supervisors for the underage children.
