I took mother's will to mean William Taggart's mother's will, and that she (William's mother) owed money to Jo Corrin who could have been William's sister's husband (marriage contract), or daughter's husband? Or his mother or father (mother exec) could have been in debt to Jo Corrin for some other reason, rather than being connected to an earlier marriage of William's?
