At the moment I still think I am right [but would just like to know for sure !!]
If you look at ManxNotebook Wills Patrick 1749-1799 there is a Will for Paul Caine 1762 which mentions his brother's children and also Renshent so I think Thomas was in Renshent at 1762 and the Caine family stayed there.
But would love to hear what you have.
