Hi Sue and John , just wanted to point out that the Scots also followed the same naming pattern of children , and although I have never seen it on the IOM , the Scots sometimes named two children the same , I have found two instances , and after discussing with my cousin in Scotland , the explanation is that they may have named the second one because the first one was not expected to live........................and did !!
