at the time of Jane Looney als Kneen - her death on the 25 Feb 1780

and yet she says in her Will in 1780 -

Lastly She Nominated Constituted and Appointed her
Only beloved Son John Looney whole and Sole
Executor of all her Worldly goods of whatsoever

It is well known that in a Grandmothers Will she names her Grandchildren.

as we found in the Will of Ann Costean als Looney 1720

to her granchild Ann Looney a chist & a quart
of ----reed flax and a pettycoate of black pleddin,
and to the rest of hir granchildren six pence apeice legacy namely John and
Margary, Betty and William; and six pence apeice legacy

If Jane Looney als Kneen had Grandchildren – she would have named them or at least acknowledged that she had Grandchildren in her Will.

But she could not as her only beloved son - was - buried May 24th 1783 age 34

so not alive in 1802
