Another Document in 1757 – below - shows that Margaret & Isabel Kelvie were underage at the signing of the 1740 document – this means that in 1740 – Margaret & Isabel Kelvie were under the age of 14 years.
MAYBE Margaret was only 12 at the signing of the 1740 Document – so this makes her born c1728 or before.
So in 1757 Margaret is around 29 years of age – With 6 children.
A reason for William being described as a, ‘poor pitiable object’ in his Father’s Will – could have been caused by a lengthy childbirth of a 14 year old girl.

Maughold, Did before their their Intermariage with the sd.
Dan Christian and John Looney with their brother Thos. Kelvey
and their Mother Jane Kelvey Did Sell unto Wm. Spranger of
the sd. Town of Ramsey a Certain part or parcell of their Concerns
on the Mooraugh in foresd. Town as by Bill of Sale of the pmises
Dated the 13th June 1739. may appear and the sd. Daniel –
Christian and John Looney alledging ^ that ^ their wifes were not at
Lawfull years (rest of this line under fold of Document)
have occasioned some Suits and trouble, and to prevent any –
further Disputes or Suits at Law Dan: Christian and John Looney
with their wifes aforesd. have proceeded to the following Quit –
Claime, Therefore Know all men by these presents that we
the sd. Dan Christian and Isable ^ Christian ^ my wife and John Looney and
Margt. Looney my wife Divers Causes as hereunto moving but
Cheifly and more Especially for and in Consideration of the Just Sum
twenty four shillings and six pence, as allso to avoid both
present and future Lawsuits we have by these presents Given
Granted Transferred resigned relinguished and for ever Quit
Claimed all manner of Demands as for Tytle or pretention of
Tytle that we now have or hereafter might or Could have unto
the foresd. premisses or any part parcell or member thereof
Excluding and Debaring our heyres Execrs. Administers. and –
Assignes or any other person by from or under us from any
pretention to the premisses before mentioned And the same to
have and to hold unto him the sd. Wm. Spranger his heyres
Execrs. Administrs. and Assignes Quitely and peaceably for –
ever as aforesd. he paying the Lords ^ rent ^ yearly incumbent on
the same with all other Dues and Dutys yearly incumbent
on the foresd. premisses And for the true and for the true and –
faithfull performance of all and Singular the foregoing Quit –
Claime and every Clause ^and^ Sentence ^therein^ Containˊd mentioned meaint or
