I opened a 30 day account with the Manx Newspaper, I found an article which gave me names of the children of John Crook....different names to what I had!

This is what I found:

Caroline Crook v. Next-of-Kin of John Crook.— Petition for probate.—The petitioner examined by Mr Browne, deposed : John Crook was niy husband, and died on the 25th February last. He left three daughters and one son surviving.— James Crook, Eliza, wife of Thos. Hunter; Ann, wife of Frederick Cooper; Emma, wife of James Webb; all resident off the Island. One son, Ralph, is dead, leaving three children—Reginald. Alice, and Milicent, all resident off'the Island.— The value of the personal estate in under £fi0UProbate was granted.
