Good find Gem with the probate record for George. I presumed the probate would have been in the Isle of Man not England. You can purchase the will, if there if there is one, through the government's Find a Will site they cost £10 :-

I can't find any marriage of George and Edith Mona so where it refers to Edith as widow on the probate record that status does not refer to her as George's widow but, as we know, widow of James William. It can be confusing trying to understand the relationship of people mentioned in probate indexes. Women executors are usually just described as spinster, married woman or widow.
