I haven't looked at the original church register for Theodore's baptism record. I will see if I can locate this.

Would the reason they got him baptised in 1904, some time after he arrived in IOM and also not local to where they lived, would this be an indication of them preserving privacy and also any gossip if they they are well known within the community? Is this what you were implying or have I misunderstood?!

Will look in to Alice Holroyde, shows her on the census as being a servant for the Leach family - Charles W (40) & Annie L (32) and their 2 children Mabel (6) and Frederick (3), 12 Royal Avenue.
