Thanks so much for this information. I have taken a look and checked all the ages and it is entirely probable that this is the family. Selena is an interesting person. I recently discovered that she married in October 1890 and was a widow in December 1890 her husband having died in Liverpool (Burns). I am trying to discover the story behind this. As to the photos I will see if I can discover more on that front from Manx National Heritage, at least worthy of an e-mail. It seems the photos were taken in 1871 and Margaret’s husband, John, died in August, 1871. Thanks again! Every little bit helps…
