I suspect in a bit of a limbo situation - the majority of the actual registers are held at Museum (if there is a demonstratable need these will be produced tho as you can think they cannot stand sustained usage) - the official copy is 99.9% excellent (and for this period will be 100%) is borrowable on mormon film + also on film at Museum - the mormons were involved in photographing the actual registers - a team of local voluntees did much of reindexing the pages tho some were done via Mormons sending out images - the digital images are to be available in iMuseum (free at point of use on Island) in near short term (possibly April this year) then to go online tho possibly a pay per view (this will def be the case for newspapers - maybe not the parish regs - decisions if made have not been released outside of the higher echelons of the Museum
