I am a great, great granddaughter of Margaret Jane Kennaugh, nee Bridson, wife of William Kennaugh at Moaney Mooar. I need assistance to find Margaret Jane Bridson's parents who I believe to be a (possibly) John Bridson and Ann (unknown maiden name). I have notes for a possible MI reference at Malew to a "Cregeen" or "Taggart" as Ann's maiden name? I cannot find a marriage for John and Ann either, but suspect it to be Malew, roughly around 1820 to 1825 as Margaret Jane Bridson was born in 1825 or 1826, Malew.

Can anyone shed any light on this family and guide me to find information for Margaret Jane's parents and family? I have looked at 1841 census, found two Margaret Bridsons in Malew. I also have a note that Margaret Jane Bridson might have been born at Silverdale Farm? In the 1851 census I seem to be at a wall as none of them would seem to fit. Margaret Jane Bridson married John Kennaugh at Malew on July 6th, 1852 as far as I can tell.

Any suggestions and ideas on how to proceed would be very much appreciated for this branch of my family. Thank you!
