Hi again,
Thank you, Averil, for all the information. As always, very much appreciated.
As to the Taggart/Cregeen (Crejeen) info. that is another part of the puzzle. However, I think I have figured that out. Going back a few generations in the Kennaugh line we have a Mary Mylecharane who married Thomas Brew, her daughter, Elizabeth Brew, married Gilbert Kennaugh in 1759 (Santon). Their son William K. married Margaret Clark who inherited Moaney Mooar. William K. is the father of John K. (spouse of Margaret Jane Bridson).
Previously Mary Mylecharane was married to John Martin, they had a daughter, Mary, who married a William Taggart in Santon (1768). I have found five children from this marriage. I suspect Ann Cregeen may have been a daughter of one of these as she was born Ann Taggart in 1806 (Malew). Parents are Thomas Taggart and Ann Fargher (married Malew, 1797). Ann Taggart married John Cregeen in 1829 (Malew). Ann died, aged 29, in 1835. Her husband John (35) died 1839, and their possible son, also a John Crejeen, died 1839 (Malew, age 8). I have also located a possible brother for Ann (Matthew Taggart) christened Malew in 1798.
It took me a while to figure all this out, I am not sure that it is right, but I wonder if the Mary Mylecharane/Brew/Martin/Taggart line is the link to Crejeen information. Thomas Taggart might be the key.
As to MJB, I will continue on with that puzzle as well.
Thanks so much once again for all your thoughts and assistance, one and all!
Lynn
