Hello again,
I have been looking over the information provided. It would see that if we are to assume that Margaret Jane Bridson is the younger sister of William Bridson in the 1851 census, residing at Ballachrink, then I am still puzzled as to why her birth information does not appear to show up anywhere. However, I did find on the IGI a Jane Bridson with event "Other" in 1826, Malew with Digital Folder Number 004496872 and Image Number 00249. Also, I found the exact folder and image numbers for "Margt Bridson", Other, in 1824, Malew. Wondering if these may be one and the same? How would this be checked, possibly the Family History Centre could assist? In both of these cases there is no other information, i.e., parents. It is also noted that "Margt" Bridson is also at Balla Crink, Kirk Malew, with her family in the 1841 census. I wonder if the problem is due to these two different partial registrations. A possibility, do you think?
I also found, on the IGI, a submitted Pedigree Resource File, Submission ID is MMSR-85J dated 19 Jan. 2007. This has the marriage (17 Oct. 1810, Malew) of William Bridson (born 18 Jan. 1784, Malew, died 20 Jan. 1868, Malew, and Ellinor Radcliffe, born 16 Dec 1792, Malew, died 14 Mar. 1863. The Pedigree file can then take this line all the way back to the "Clan Ancestor Bell", 1650 or so on the Radcliffe side. Perhaps you could tell me if it is possible to somehow download this file? Problem is I don't need everything.
Basically, what I need to establish is whether the 1824 and 1826 Margaret and Jane "Other" events in Malew might possibly relate to the Margaret Jane Bridson I am seeking. Is there any way to determine this? It is also interesting to note that in this large Pedigree file that I found, there is also no mention of Margaret Jane Bridson as a daughter of William and Eleanor (Radcliffe) Bridson.
I look forward to your responses. Thank you once again.
Lynn
