Hi Lynn
Back in March I asked our Helpful Researcher to look for MIs and burial register entries which might be relevant to your search for the parents, grandparents etc of Margaret Jane Kennaugh nee Bridson.
Now that you have enough information to be pretty sure that MJB's parents were William Bridson (blacksmith/farmer of Ballachrink, Malew, from Mary M's marriage register info and also from census entries ) and Eleanor Radcliffe, the following information might contain some nuggets which will help you establish who MJB's grandparents were.
*************************
These were the MIs I asked for:
*************
BRIDSON, William 84 Malew 23 Jan 1868
****************
possibly Eleanor nee Radcliffe:
BRIDSON, Eleanor 70 Malew 17 Mar 1863
*******************
parents of Eleanor Bridson nee Radcliffe ?
RADCLIFFE, Samuel 74 Mal 21 Jul 1831
***********
maybe one of these ?
RADCLIFFE, Margaret
Mal 11 Jan 1821
RADCLIFFE, Margaret
Mal 3 Aug 1825
******
but more likely this ?
RADCLIFFE, Margaret 76 Mal 24 Jan 1841
***********
**********************

I wonder whether the fragments lying within the surround of the grave were from a completely different plot and will prove to be just a red herring ?
