Hello again!
I've checked Jane in 1861 and it's not easy to read but is 34, I now see. Sorry. John's age has a great pen mark through it, but I think it is 36.
I assume you have Ann Mylrea's marriage date and there's a possible burial for her , aged 34, in Malew, 10 Sep 1854. If Johhn remarried in the same year, he must've been a quick worker!
Well, I can tell you that John Kelly's father was almost certainly John Kelly! Have you looked on Family Search? There are 4 J.Ks christened in Malew in 1822.
20 Jan - J. K. + Cath Killey
17 Feb - J.K. + Cathe Hudgeon
23 Feb - J.K. + Margaret Ann (no surname)
28 Jul - J.K. + Christian Quayles (this is one you can discount!)
There are 2 possible burials in 1822 and 1824 of J.K. which would account for the fact that there aren't 4 still alive in 1841.
Your only hope is to look at the actual parish register for John's marriages to see if there's a father mentioned, which there was sometimes. I've just been to the IoM but you could ask someone on the Board to look them up for you as you have the dates.
Good luck! Not easy with that name.
Jo
