Can you give us the exact details from John Kelly's two marriages, please. I'm interested in the witnesses. Did John sign his name on either of the entries ? If so, did the signature look the same ?

I'm wondering whether there's any chance at all that the John Kelly who married Ann Mylrea was a different John. I'd really like to think that John's first marriage was to an Ann Shimmin (for several reasons, which I'm investigating). Curiously, 4 days after the John Kelly/Ann Mylrea marriage, there was another Malew marriage, of an Ann Shimmin to a John Cain. I don't suppose there's any scope whatsoever for the names to have been mixed up in the register by the person who wrote the entries ? Was the document you saw on film at the museum an actual scan/photograph of the page from the register, or was it a transcription ?
