Sorry for the confusion!

I think by the time my Mum was born the Carringtons were dead (my Mum is the youngest of 5 and there was very big age gap between her and her siblings).

I don't think Marjorie had a lot to do with the Carringtons as an adult as she didn't have a very happy childhood with them. She did see them occassionally and I suppose its fair to say her children did think of them as Grandparents, just very distant ones.

From what I can gather the Carringtons adopted Marjorie purely for the money, there wasn't much love there.
