I see you got in touch with the local RO, who were helpful - but when they read out the birth details from their record, which exactly matched yours, did you record the name and address of the informant? Also, if it was the mother, she would have signed the original registration, and it would be handy to have that signature to compare with a later one of Eleanor/Helena's.
