Do you know how you get in touch with local ROs? In 1905 she was registered in the Wirral, Woodchurch district. Should I find the RO for the Wirral you think and write to them? Will they actually give me the information as I thought the only certificates you could order were via the GRO site which I've done already.

I think you are right though, I need to go back to basics and get all the certificates in front of me and go from there.
