Hi Eric,
I have been busy trawling through the archived messages on this site trying to find details of my Gelling ancestors and I must admit that, after about 5 hours my head is spinning with trying to work out what is correct and has subsequently been discounted through the discussions with others also trying to find their Gelling ancestors.
Is there any way I can contact you via email to find out the family tree you have compiled so far?
My Gellings come down through who I suspect to be John Gelling b1702 who married Anne Moore b.1700 (although I got really confused when reading your discussions as to who the correct parents were) and their son William b. 1734, his son John b. 1785, his son Edward b. 1790 and his daughter Elizabeth who married John Caveen. Elizabeth is my last Gelling.
Obviously I hope my assumptions re my Gellings are correct and I'd love to hear from you, and any other devoted Gelling researchers, so I can add so many more Gellings onto my tree and find some distant relations too.
Many thanks,
