I have no note of a marriage of a John Gelling in 1715 to an ann moore and think I have looked at all marriages in period 1700 to 1757 and most now through to c.1780.
The marriage of John Gelling in 1739 states jg balmillaghyn but surely it would have commented that he was a minor of just 17 at marriage ?
The 1733 will of John Gelling of Ballamillaghyn states Item, he left to his said grandson John Gelling his part of the [?green crop] at Boatin Miln, as his wife had left him her part thereof in her will. He also states Item, he nominated and constituted his son John, the son of Ann Kneal whole and sole Executrix [?transcription here]
