You could try asking the MM library staff whether they now have an index to the Presentments [email = enquiries@mnh.gov.im] and if so would they please look up the reference for a presentment in or near 1827 arising from the illegitimate birth of Elizth Sophia Gill, the daughter of Margaret Gill, with the father "alleged Robt Gill" given at her baptism in Braddan on 25th Feb 1827.

And would they tell you their fee for scanning and sending you the document.

The child isn't named, but any details given for either or both parents would be interesting.
