Yes, the two Joughin christenings have thrown me. As you say, same parents and too close at first sight to be possible. The ONLY option is that sometimes parenrs did not christen a child for some time, and if No 1 became ill in 1803, and was say 6-9 months old already and was christened hastily as it looked like it was not goint to make it. Then if NO 1 dies and a second one has been on the way for a few months, and they give the same name.

Speculation but I can see no other plausible answer.
