I have no idea who was Jane's children's father. In 1901 she was living in Onchan as a servant, but I cannot find her in 1911 so assume that she had married. As the marriages in the IOM are only indexed by the males it is very difficult to find a marriage for Jane. I also cannot find John Herbert anywhere in 1911. About the early 1950's Jane was living off Park Road, Dingle, Liverpool 8, I think Dorrit Street. Do you know whereabouts in Liverpool your grandparents were living? Lucy May married Edward John Skillicorn. I am in touch with their daughter but she knows nothing at all about her grandmother.
