I think the photo could be Herbert's wife & not John's family after all. Your John C had 2 sisters Jessie b 1887 but died 1894 aged 6½ & Lucy May born 1891, know nothing further on her. John's parents were Ann Christian (born c 1840) & John C (born c 1836) who was a fisherman in the south. Their other chn were Mary Anne b 1870, Harvey 1873, Catherine M b 1875 & Annie b 1878 (These dates are circa). In 1901 census only John aged 63 & Emma aged 18 are together in Douglas at the same ref. Harvey disappears but he could be Henry misspelt! There is a death date for Ann Clugstone aged 60 in Rushen March 1900 which would tally with her birth date. There is a death of John Clugstone aged 70 in Rushen April 1910 which almost tallies with his birth. The girls probably married so I don't know their married names.
