get copies of the wills - as neither give a spouse's name make sure that all claims etc are included with the copy as often these have a clue as to spouse's family - I will check again the 1702 composition book for Michael but I'm sure I could not find an Adam cain entered for any property - when I get a chance I will do the same for Ballaugh - however I doubt if any record will be found in property records as all the indications, including some notes in baptismal/marr regs are that the family were based in the Bishop's demense for which absolutely no property records exist until I think late 19th or 20th Century.
