Our Patrick CAIN (CAINE) ,(KOYNE) left the Isle on Man with his sister ALCE /ALICECAIN from BALLAUGH PARISH, as he was not famous on the Isle but he became famous in what he accomplished in America, our line goes all the way to the 1600 on the Isle of Man,to William Cain (Caine)(KOYNE), Adam Cain married Anne Corlett, I recently sent evidence to a very sweet lady I have been corresponding with on the Isle when I first posted on this website, . PATRICK CAIN ( CAINE) ( KOYNE) who married Ellillnor Clarke in KK Michael Parish in February 1737, Patrick born 1712, ,and Patrick Jr. was baptized in June 1737 in KK Ballaugh Parish , had a twin, Phillip, who is buried at the Old Ballaugh Church, Sister ALCE, ALICE , BORN 1746 was baptized in September of that year, in 1746 Patrick Sr. emmigrated to the VA Colony where his name appears in the Chronicles of the Augusta County , VA SCOT/[IRSH , of course he was full MAN. In 1755 Patrick JR, listed in the NORTH CAROLINA MILITA, listed as Patrick Koyne and in the same unit, Nathanael Walker, whom ALCE CAIN married, Patrick Jr. married a Molly Griffith in 1761, Patrick Jr. was a DEPUTY SURVEYOR for Craven County , South Carolina, also Oranburgh District he was elcected to the Thrid Assembly1779-1780 in October 1771, and in the Colleton regiment, a portion of the Colleton Regiment was ambushed by a band of TORIES under the hand of Col. Hezekiah Williams, near the banks of the South Edisto River, near the the home of Patrick's sister , ALCE , ALICE CAIN WALKER, As a bloody battle ensued and all the PATRIOTS were killed, PATRICK CAIN Jr. was one of those Patriots, a family member traced all this information for both the CAINS, CAINE,KOYNE'S, the CAIN'S made history here in the Revoluntionary war, and in lands and towns, WALKER'S STATION, and HEALING SPRINGS, that NATHANAEL WALKER, BOUGHT OFF THE INDIANS, has a historical state Plague and ACLE, OR ALICE CAIN was his wife, sister of PATRICK SR, whom, those two, left the Isle of Man and their descendants made it big in AMERICA, and John Cain also a war hero and this has been established historically.
Many have worked hard to establish this information, and therefore credit must go to all family members of descendants of Patrick Cain Sr. for this genealogy.
