I believe you are wrong - I've checked the actual Micheal parish reg and Ballaugh - I believe the mother of the twins was Ellinor Steon (or stephen) - adam + family lived on the Bishop's demense in the ballaugh portion (thus no property records to help) - you can see where he transfered allegiance from the nearer Kk Michael in response to the decree signed by the Bishop that those families in the northern section use Ballaugh as their parish church.
Likewise Patrick married Ellinor Clark in BALLAUGH not Kk Michael - the entry states patrick cain ballaugh;elinor clarke of jurby (which is somewhat strange as women normally married in their own parish - it is also strange in that it implies Patrick had moved away from his father's farmstead otherwise he would have been described as of bishop's land/demense

I would like to see any documentation of the manx bapts + marriages. There is another Adam Cain in marown at about the same period who I have not investigated
