I thoroughly enjoy researching my family tree and apart from Nan Wade, I have no-one (as yet), who is a well known person, never mind a celeb-rity.
The chances are that this may well be the case and although it would add additional interest to my research, I'm not complaining as finding warts and all is similarly interesting.

I was however, curious if other people have came across well known people in their research?
A person who I initially thought of having Manx connections was Simon Cowell (Cowle connection), but I believe his mother was Polish and his father Jewish, so this looked unlikely, but you never know.

So my inquisitive question is this,
Do you, or do you know, of any celeb-rity who is Manx or has Manx connections?
(Note, the word Celeb-rity in full was a naughty word)
