Yup, this was all discussed a while ago, I brought it up as he is related to my family via our Bridson lines.

If you have connections I could update you but probably privately as not everyone necessarily would want to see it all again.

Mr. Blair didn't shut things down though, it just ran it's course of interest but he is indeed of Manx Descent via his father Leo Blair (Blair being his adopted name, birth Mother was Gussie Bridson who was an actress). The family is from the Ridgeway Bridson line who were owners of the largest Cotton Bleaching factory at the time based in Boulton. All the family had been hard and fast Capitalists however, Leo's adopted parents, James and Mary Blair were socialsits to the core and so he was brought up with those views and hence his son became the socialist leader and subsequent Prime Minister of Britain, all I find, very interesting!
