The chart that I am referring to is the C. Radcliffe tree which Phillip mentioned in his post a couple of years back. His message said "Tree Bwoaillee Losht (1) starts with WILLIAM LOONEY (d 1718 E.2.) son of - Looney and Ann Costain (d 1720 A.71.)" We now know that Ann Costain/Costen was the second wife of John Looney b. 1647 and step-mother to William.

Yes I am reading all of the posts made to these messages. Obviously I am not the only one questioning the family relationships because yesterday I was coming to the conclusion that John Looney b. 1647 had to have been married more than one time, and as I was writing up my comments on this subject, Averil posted a message addressing that same issue.
These message threads do get to be kind of crazy since posting new replies to prior messages shows up above older messages. It also does not help when we get to addressing multiple topics (families & generations) within the same message thread. In spite of the way these message replies are laid out, I think we are making really good progress in ironing out and correcting some of the prior mistakes made concerning the Maughold Looney families.
