Your William Garrett has lived till 1841...... Maybe his Brother, Thomas Garrett.............did too.

Have you looked at the NSS documents that Frances has mentioned ???

beneath the burne called the Lagcaugh or Firmoss; Witt James Allen, Jos Hayes x, Nicho Christian; Setting quest stae 8d qtrland + 1.5d intack rent

Thomas was either unmarried or a widower at the time otherwise wife would have had to sign - notice name of Croft

So, Thomas born. 24 –11 – 1754 - is still alive in 1777.

Maybe a long shot - to search the Wills for him - in case he has sold up and moved to another Parish ?
