Your William Garrett has lived till 1841...... Maybe his Brother, Thomas Garrett.............did too.
Have you looked at the NSS documents that Frances has mentioned ???

Thomas was either unmarried or a widower at the time otherwise wife would have had to sign - notice name of Croft
