I have looked at everything, and need to know, where you found that William Garrett was a Widower when he married Isabel FARGHER ?
On Frances, MNB CD - it has -

On the imuseum website it has -

Parish.

Groom's marital status: not stated.
Groom's father: not stated.
Groom's mother: not stated.
Bride's marital status: not stated.
Bride's father: not stated.

I suspect the William (m. Isabel Fargher) was a first marriage.
He has died leaving 2 young children alive, just, 5 years after his marriage to Isabel Fargher.
If he was aged about 20 at the time of his marriage.
I think a look at the Will of -
GARRET William ( Trangagh Moar ) 29 October 1745.
GARRET, William 1746-2 Lezayre Episcopal.
Just in case this is William (m. Isabel Fargher) - his Father ???
