Alison has also found a JC of the right age in Onchan, and as the plaintiff in the court case claimed several properties in Garff sheading, he looked like a possibility as well.

We'll have to ask her whether she knows where the Malew date on the internet comes from. Remember how the plaintiff first laid claim to land in Castletown, but found he was mistaken? It might have been entered on a tree by someone who saw his old claim and didn't know he changed his mind. But I'm open to all possibilities!
