It could well have been me asking if you were still looking at the message board - I am trying to research my Corkell family in Cornwall who I have every reason to believe had their roots in the Isle of Man. The fact that you are a Corkill and that your message was about land on the island could have grabbed my attention - both figure prominently in my (still unsuccessful) research.
If youve a minute, have a look at the message I ("Alison") posted on Monday 24 May 2004. Some facts have changed/been added since then but it will give you an idea of where I am trying to get.
