can now add a little more - joney caine als quayle buried Mic 17250123 (which explains why just 3 children) and burial reg has b'curloed - it would appear that patt married again to ann corlett by 1734 as they have several children (some indicated b'curleod in register) upto 1744 - this explains the dau-i-law ann cain in her mo-in-law's will
Pat's 2nd wife died 31 mar 1756 (indicated b'curleod in bur reg)- will d end mar;dau elizth,ann,ellinr (younger);son philip (+ his ch)[?bapt];husb pat
this makes it more likely that the 1765 will of Patt cain is the one to look at
Looking at the 1704 composition book we have
Jo Caine Miller for halfe of a tenement called BallaCurleod cont halfe a quarter of land of 17s 4d double rent compounded for in 1643 by William Curlett.
which looks as though may be the caine corlett connection
lib vast should help here + some later lib assed - story to be continued ....
to add a little spice I wonder if Patt is the pat cain who fathered an illeg child wm cain on Ellen Freer in 1731 - illeg; patrick cain of Kk Michael, ef of kk german
