The Bbile stated that PATRICK AND ALCE were from the Isle of MAN, the Bible is the Hard Evidence, and a researchers from many famliy members that did the Parish records. We believe the Bible is with the Great Aunt, who lives in the lower Santee Cooper area of South Carolina. The Irish PATRICK CAINE you are speaking is not our line, we were aware of that line and that is not our line. The PATRICK CAIN(e) we are off of came from the ADAM CAIN , PATRICK SR, AND THEN PATRICK JR. We are positive of that, the problem arrives with the STOEN marriage, we have the MORMON records on the STOEN marriage, recently, and we are trying to put the puzzle together, we have our facts. The CAIN side had the Bible and then it went to the WALKER SIDE, there was a rift in the family many years ago, which I have not fully found out of what nature. There were three sisters who were Spinsters, the Bible was in the hands of one of the sisters. I went to the nephews home and he was not home, but talked at length with his mother in our line and she is 86, and some statements were confusing, so her lady care taker, tried to help in her remembrance and so we really did not get any useful data . I was told by her I was the mirror image of Elizabeth CAIN, whereby I had been told that before, many times. Well, I will again try to get with the Great Aunt and she has homes at HEALING SPRING AND SANTEE, and is quite busy. I know that the hard evidence began with the Bible and then to researchers, on the Isle and Mormon records and court records. I have facts and you have facts and they do intertwine. I still think there is two marriages and the record keeping part of that is the missing link, for the lands were passed down.

I hope it can be resolved, but if not, as stated, we have our records and they are Parish records, and I am sure that in all this mix-up there is a answer, we just have to dig deeper. but with damaged Parish records, the answer may never come to pass, but the paper trail we have is consistent, with the Bible. The Bible infomatin was given out years and years ago and that is when the many in the family began their research off the Isle.

Thank you for all you have done and are doing, I am ever grateful for Ms. Douglas also helping, the CAINS have many mysteries in this family, that is why I started at age 16 looking for my roots in this family and I have some age and this family line, many members have dug deep and we are not the IRISH PATRICK CAINE. We are MANX as our Parish records show where that ADAM CAIN was the father of Patrick Cain. So that is a definite and that was our Patrick.

The trouble comes which mother, not which PATRICK and two possible marriages, for there is intertwinement by children and lands.

Well there is an old Southern saying here, it goes as this, " IT' WILL ALL COME OUT IN THE WASH." It takes many years sometimes to break down brick walls, But our brick wall on PATRICK was never there, it was plain as day, in the Bible, so it is the wives of ADAM that appears to be the problem.
