Just google Lori Oschefski Canada and you will get a stack of websites , a lot of information including deaths of Home Children in WW 1 , James and Herbert not there.
Best to take the second website and choose on the left side "Researching your home child - the basics" , this will give you the option of a name search.
Don't forget this is all children sent from GB , not just the IOM
