Frances and Sue have steered you to Manxnotebook re the DIH , which has a lot of information from the time, but I think it was a little gilded.
The information I have is that it was horrific for the children that were sent .
I cannot locate the on the internet the article that I downloaded, but if you google " British Home Children Canada" you will find a lot of sites regarding the children.
One by Lori Oschefski is good , with name search , there are James and Herbert Wilsons on the list, but not sure how to prove.
My wifes grandmother's brothers are on the list , but the information shows they went on the same ship , and does not show they were from the Isle of Man. My information was that they shipped siblings separately on purpose.
