Anne Kelly's brother was, I think, John HOGG who married Joney KEWLEY in Lonan on 14 June 1727. When Joney died in 1757 "She left to her son Philip Hogg all her part of [land] & that in manner following. She left to her s'd son Philip a parcel of Land being Intack, and known by the name of Cloch Gear, also she left him her part of the lands [where] they live and known by the name of John Hoggs Croft...."
Lois has a Lonan deed Oct 1766 # 114 Phill Hogg to John Skillicorn:
"Know all men by these Presents that I Philip Hogg of Laxey Gill
in the Parish of Kk Lonnan with the full and free Consent of my father
John Hogg & also with the joint consent & assent of Ellinor Hogg als
Lewney my wife .....absolutely sell from us our heirs Execrs admrs assigns unto
him the sd John Skillicorn his heirs execrs admrs & assigns, all and
singular Our Right, Title, Interest & property we have or hereafter
may or Can have in and unto a Certain parcel of Intack commonly
Called and Distinguished by the Name of Glan-Clock-core, the Boundary thereof
leads northward from Moaney Gretch voar's hedge as the Hedge ranges to Philip
Hogg's Rent, adjoining to the rent of Thos Cowin on the East and also to the sd
john Skillicorn's rent as Bounded by sd Thos Cowin rent on the south...." (etc.)
