Thank you Sue for your splendid help. I drove past Ballasloe House & Old Farmhouse they are beside that same road leading from Hiburnia to Maughold Church. I had been there with your
help again to investigate" my " Kerruishes before their Homecoming [ 28 ]. The Corkills there were famous blacksmiths. My Kerruishes insisted they had come from Ballasloe Beg acrossthe road & uphill up a little lane. But probably a little croft adjacent. They had even contacted the current owner who was researching former owners of his property. There is a long string in the archives of this board. I will get onto Mis /certs etc. By the way I may have told you I knew Constance when I was a young teacher in same school. She was very kind to me & an honour
to have known such a wonderful ,local historian. You are all allowed to smile I called her Connie once. She said politely but firmly--Constance please.
To go back to Edward & Elizabeth---Frances said immediately "probably death in childbirth" but I see she struggled on for one month & it is not mentioned on death cert. I must go to Braddan to look for her grave. Edward & Jemima are buried with expensive black marble headstone on main drive into Glencrutchery Cemetery ,Douglas. By the way I have reams of details of the Starlings from
Norfolk/Suffolk.
