Dear Sue You are a star !! Although I had settled on those folk at Gretch I was disconcerted about some of the Corkill info. I had heard that it was a small family at Church Street but
that one known male , some connection , had gone to US & become a Minister of Religion but there was an elderly cousin called Ethel I met once & thought how did she fit into Cecil
Starling Corkill's family? I am glad to read that poor Elizabeth [ Edward's first wife ]who died at 27years of heart disease & kidney disease did have some children. How sad to leave 3 babies.
Robert James ,the youngest , was born 15th July 1885 & his mother died 13th August.Frances thought childbirth might be involved----exhaustion so many pregnancies in a short timespan.
More research needed at Registry. Unfortunately I have bought several carefully selected " Gretch " certs. When I have sorted myself out perhaps someone would claim them.Thank you,Mary
